Dad's been helping Grandpa plant this week and we just couldn't resist catching a tractor ride.

Charmer...
Nathan to the cashier at the convenience store this morning...
"Your hair is the same color as my garage door"
...now how do I turn this conversation around to leave on a good note? ...definitely left this mama speechless!

Throwing rocks in daddy's pond
Saturday we took advantage of some of the best weather we have had this cold and rainy spring and went with Daddy to the shop to throw rocks in his pond. Boys loved it!

Today we put all Mom's lazy nights on Pinterest to good use. First we made pomp pomp angry birds and piggies then we had Angry bird shaped fruit and veggies. Boys loved it :)
Hungry little man...
This morning I was trying to get a little cleaning done before guest were scheduled to arrive when I noticed that Logan apparently decided to take breakfast into his own hands and was nawing on a loaf of homemade bread...I seem to have forgotten just how fast and mischievous year olds are.

Back on the map
This winter unlike most flew by. I found myself saying how is it spring already? Not something you usually hear from an Iowan. The boys have been keeping us on our toes and on the go. Nathan is finishing up his last year of preschool and is excited for kindergarten round up in the next couple months. He continually talks about angry birds and is constantly trying to convince mom and dad to let him play some form of technology. Logan is into whatever Nathan is doing and is
constantly his little shadow. He is saying more and more each day. Nearly all the words he can say are pronounced with the first one or two letter sounds missing, ( milk is ilk, drink is ink, please is ease). He is a constant crack up to watch as he continues to discover the world around him.
