We enjoyed another wonderful Christmas morning with Nathan. It is so special to experience Christmas through the eyes of a child. Nathan was very excited to get a spin & fix Thomas ( something he has asked for for 11 months).

Nathan has been taken every chance he can get to pick up snow, and play in it when we shuffle from the vehicle into store etc. He finally got another chance to play in the snow when Mick was home on Christmas Eve Day.

Enjoying the Minnesota Snow

We traveled with Daddy this week to Minnesota to a farm show. Nathan has been wanting snow to play in so when Mick heard that they had it up here he had me pack Nate's snow pants ect. It didn't take long for Nate to find a place to play in the snow. He made his first snowman for the season, a snow turtle, and snow angles (all with the help of Daddy of course :) )

Wrapping Presents

Nathan was very excited to wrap Christmas presents for his cousins this weekend. Almost every present he wrapped got at least 3 bows!

Nathan got to make oranments and decorate his very own tree for the basement. He was very proud to get to decorate all by himself.

Nathan has been asking about putting the star on the Christmas tree for weeks so Thursday night when we put the tree up he was more than excited.

All Grown Up!

A couple months ago when it was Mick's month to usher Nathan started to notice Mick's suit and said that he wanted one too. We told him when he got older he could have a suit. Later Grandma got him a tie... the very next Sunday Nathan asked if he could wear the shirt with the thing on it. He was very proud to wear his new duds to church.

Lately Nathan and Dad have been playing wii together. Nathan had tried several times before but wasn't able to grasp the concept. Now he has been able to get the hang of it. He has been playing with Daddy nearly every night when Mick gets home. His favorite is "riding" the cow to the farm.

Snow Flakes!

There was a lot of excitement at our house today over the few snow flakes that fell this afternoon. Nathan has been asking for over a month when it will snow and has been asking about playing in the snow and making snowmen and snow angels. Although he was a little disappointed there was no accumulation he enjoyed watching the snow fall to the ground and melt.

I recently came down from changing to find Nathan going through my makeup bag and putting on eye shadow all over his face. He was quite proud... telling me he was getting ready to go ( as mom says I need to get ready to go when I put apply makeup)

Nathan has began to love working on the computer... He works on his numbers and letters in word and sending emails.
