Space Aliens

We are in Minnesota this week with Mick at a farm show. With the crazy weather forecast we ended up leaving on Saturday afternoon to make the trek instead of our intended Monday travel date. It was a good thing we did because Minneapolis ended up with 19 inches of snow! Our hotel suggested the restaurant Space Aliens for entertainment/food. Nathan enjoyed all the games/rides and especially the free ice cream afterwards...as you can see it was more than enough for all of us!

Sunday when we were coming back into town from going to church we drove by Mick's office. Nathan, "Daddy is that where you live?"

You have probably noticed the clothes hamper in many posts on our blog. It's hard for me to keep up on what the hamper currently is. Today the hamper is a fish aquariam. Nathan is "swimming" inside with his fish puppets. What an imagination! As you can see the hamper rarely makes it to the laundry room to hold clothes, oh well, not much laundry is getting done these days anyway!

So Big...

Is it possible that our second child will grow up even faster than it seems the first did? Logan is now three weeks old and starting to be able to lift his head and gain some control of his neck muscles. Nothing abnormal I know but it seems like he already is growing too fast.

SHARK!

Sharks have been a hot topic around our house the last few weeks since Grandma took him to the Library and brought home a book that had a shark in it. Sparking the following conversation...
Nathan, with a concerned look: Are there sharks in Grandpa's pond?
Me: No, they are only in the ocean.
Nathan still concerned: Are there sharks in Leech Lake?
Me: No, they are only sharks in the ocean.
Nathan: Leech lake is the ocean isn't it?

Roomies...

Nathan has gotten two new roommates... Tiny and Buddy. The aquarium was given to Nathan as a Christmas gift from Uncle Eric and Aunt Nicole. Nathan was ecstatic as we set up the aquarium and even more so when we went to go pick out his two fish the next day.

Special Guest

We have been getting spoiled that last few weeks with Grandmas staying at our house giving us extra help while Mick is away at winter shows. Nathan has been so happy to get to spend extra time with them and of course I appreciate all the extra help and the much needed naps I have been able to catch because of their help.
