Getting some Tractor time in with Daddy! I'm not sure who was more excited!

Dad loved having his little boy ride in the tractor with him as much as Nathan enjoyed the ride!

A ride on Thomas

Today we had so much fun riding Thomas the tank engine in Boone with the Truesdells. Nathan just loved it! He also enjoyed the other many activites they had their for children and playing with Claire & Emma. It was a great Sunday afternoon!

Lunch Date

Cousin Erin came over to play yesterday afternoon, they also had lunch together- they enjoyed making their own sandwhiches!

More Fishing at Leech Lake

We went for one last fishing trip of the season to Leech lake with Paul & Renae & Uncle Eric - Nate had so much fun!

Nathan is growing up way too fast.
As we were out driving yesterday he saw a stop sign (he usually gets excited when he sees one) but this time he spelled it too.

Mom decided to take her camera on our daily park trip today. Nathan had a lot of fun & mom got to snap a few pics as well.

Childrens Museum in Ill

Poor Daddy had to work at the show why Nate & Mommy had a great time in Illinois. We went to the children's museum and the zoo the last day of the show. Nate's favorite part was the miniture grocery store and auto repair garage.

Apple Orchard

While Dad was a the Farm Progress Show in Ill. Nate & Mom went to a near by apple orchard. They had a few fun things for children including a petting zoo, maze, play equipment etc. They also had a bakery/resturant where we stopped to share one of their famous apple donuts- Nate thought they were very good!

Nathan discovered water paints for the 1st time. Funny, he seamed to enjoy dipping the paint brush in water the most!

Backyard Friends

Nathan has greatly enjoyed getting to know our new backyard neighbors. Claire (2yr.) and Emma (1yr.)are some of the first words that comes out of Nathan's mouth each morning. He can't wait to get in more playtime with the two of them. Mom & Dad have also enjoyed getting to know Claire & Emma's parents. I'm sure we will share many great family memories together.

I'VE LOST IT

In fact, I have lost pretty much everything I own lately... my coat, my cellphone(recently recoverd), my ipod (also recently recovered), nate's nuk (I wasted no time replacing this with a new one after the 1st day Nate refused to take a nap without it) but I have yet to find the usb cord to connect my camera to my computer to download all of the pics on my camera-so no new posts at this time

We have not had the best start to our trip thus far... Mick got the flu only a few short hours after we arrived at the hotel (he is finally feeling better and able to attend the show!). Then Last night his glasses accidently got knocked off the nightstand & stepped on. We rushed to the nearest super Walmart about 10 min. before they closed and at least got them screwed back together enough so he can wear them, although they look pretty messed up- they will have to be replaced once we get home. So we are hoping that today goes better - Nate & I are headed to a nearby apple orchard for the morning - looks like they have a lot for children to do!
