On Friday nights we always have popcorn movie night. Tonight's popcorn movie night was extra special for Logan because this past week he has began to be able to get himself up on the couch. It has been so funny to watch him "lounge" on the couch. He is constantly squirling around changing positions. He looked pretty proud to be sitting up next to Nathan on the couch to view Friday night's movie.

Little Farmers

Planting has been all the talk around our house lately as both Grandpa's have been busy getting their crops in the ground this spring. The boys have been busy pushing their tractors through the carpet and today they got a chance to get to ride in the real tractor with Dad. Nathan was pretty excited to get to push buttons from Dad's cues while Logan frantically tried to push every single button he could even get close to.

Things that make you say ah...

If you are around Logan for any amount of time over a few minutes it is pretty much a gaurantee that you will hear "ah" over and over again. He uses this "phrase" for pretty much everything he does, usually accompanied by his little pointer finger motioning for what he is seeing, wanting, thinking etc. So you can imagine my non shocked reaction when over the last several days I have been trying to get him to say "uh oh!" and when it finally does comes out of Logan's mouth it of course is "uh ah!" instead of "uh oh!" What a little stinker!

Preschool Graduation

Tonight we got the plesure of watching Nathan and his classmates perform at their spring concert/preschool graduatin. It was so fun to see Nathan sing his songs that we have heard bits and pieces of through out the last several months. He was very excited for his program as was pretty much bouncing off the wall by 4pm in anticipation. You could continue to see his enthusiasium through the concert with his arms constantly moving and feet never standing still. He was so proud to sing his songs and seemed to enjoy every moment, right down to the cookies we shared afterward. We can't believe how fast Nathan's first year of preschool went. It has been such a great experience for him and he enjoys it so much, he is constantly asking what day it is in anticipation for it to be a preschool day. Nathan was pretty bumbed to find out that the preschool year will be coming to an end. After a lot of discussions he is now okay with the idea of having a summer break as long as he will get to go back soon, I will have to remind him of this mind set when he's a teenager :)

Grandpa Zoske got some new little piggies in his nursery this week so we met Grandma there today so the boys could play a little with them. Nathan was excited to touch them and pick a few of them up. Logan wasn't quite so sure at first. He cried when we would hold one up by him but then began to come around and was okay with the idea of walking through the isles on his own.

We enjoyed catching up with family at an early Mother's day celebration this weekend!

Gender Rules

4-30-12 Nathan informed us at supper tonight that boys say things are "Cool" and girls say things are "pretty" and that I need to follow the rules because I said something was "cool" and I'm not a boy. I guess I have been miss informed for quite some time :)
