Happy Father's Day!

Before we even left home to go to the lake last weekend Nathan was asking if we could go to the beach. Of course the asking continued everyday we were there. With no really sunny "beach weather" kinda days while we were there we told him we would go before we left on Sunday. It actually turned out to be a great day at the beach, no the sun never came out and no the temperature never rose but we were the only ones there and we all had a great time. Dad even managed to get Logan asleep walking up and down the shore.

Sharing the love of trains...

The Loot

What Nathan caught this afternoon!

Best friends

"Now I have a dog!", Nathan said as we arrived at the Lake. Winnie is the Dog at the resort our camper is at. They have quickly become great friends, spending lots of time together.

Smores!

Nothing means camping more than SMORES! This was only our 2nd campfire fore the year, making it extra special! It's pretty hard to beat chocolate and marshmallows!

Logan 21 Weeks

Logan is continuing to grow so fast! The last couple of weeks he has really started to grasp his hands and fingers towards things with a purpose making him extra fun to play with. Nathan has truly appreciated this skill Logan has learned as he giggles everytime Logan tries to "get" him.

Happy Campers

Enjoying a trip to leech lake!

Jumper-Roo

Logan has been enjoying jumping to his heart's content in his new jumper-roo! Nathan has also had a lot of fun jumping along side him cheering him on as he jumps!

Mischief

Anytime Nathan is in the bathroom for a time period over several minutes it means trouble is brewing behind that closed door. In this particular picture he had climbed on the sink, filled it with soap and water, climbed in and was "washing" my mirror for me all to the tune of "bah, bah blacksheep have you any wool". How thoughtful right?

Blast-Ball

This summer Nathan is participating in his 1st organized sport. Blast-ball is an introductory to T-ball with very similar objectives.

A ride on the carosel!

After we had a pinic in the park with Grandma Britson we headed to the carosel. Nathan was thrilled to get to ride several times. He had a hard time choosing which animal he would ride, but decided on a horse almost every time. It was a great way to spend a noon hour!

Milestone: Logan's first time swinging at the park

19 weeks, 6/4/11
Logan enjoyed being able to play at the park too! Dad put him in the swing for the first time and he giggled and cooed as he enjoyed the ride!

Loving on Grandma Britson

Logan, 19 weeks

What little boys are made of...

We will I'm sure find out what little boys are made of in the next few years. This year was a very busy year for Grandpa and Grandma Britson as they welcomed three little boys into the world. In June they welcomed baby Blake, it's hard to believe he is almost a year old! In October the welcomed baby Evan and then in January they of course welcomed baby Logan. What fun they will have growning up together over the years!

Milestone: Logan's 1st teeth

19 Weeks, 6/5/11
Logan first two teeth came through! I felt so bad for him as he was clearly in pain from them. His gums bleed and he refused to take the bottle or a pacifier. Poor kido, only twenty-some more to go!

New Bike!

Nathan got a new bike for his birthday. He had grown so much over the cold months that he couldn't even ride his old one anymore! Nathan was thrilled to race with Dad up and down the sidewalk! Can't believe how grown up he is getting!

Happy 4th Birthday Nathan!

It's hard to believe that 4 years have gone by since we first welcomed Nathan into the world. We celebrated the day by having immediate family over for a Wonder Pets themed birthday party. Nathan had recently been to a farm themed party to celebrate Myah and Maysen's birthday so he had in his head excatly what the party should be like. After several days of convincing him that there would not be pony rides, little chickens, rabbits or the like at his party we both happily settled on pizza, a few games, cake, and the pure enjoyment we would get from our special visitors. We played "put the hat on Linny", our spin on pin the tail on the donkey. After we had played this the kids asked what we were going to play next, with no other planned games in mind I was impressed when the kids came up with limbo... with a broomstick and a little humming we were up and running. Then it was time to light the candels and celebrate the big 4! What a great day we had!
