True Fisherman...

When asking Nathan about his fishing experience last night he is a true fisherman...
Me: Did you go fishing last night?

Nate: Yes!

Me: How many fish did you catch?

Nate: 3! ( He caught 2)

Me: How big was it?

Nate: this big ( as he stretches his arms out as far as they will go)

Last night Mick took Nathan fishing...Nathan has been on numerous fishing trips since he was born, but this was the first time his pole was rigged to actually catch fish. It was so fun to see him so excited to real his line in and to hold his first fish!

One day too soon...

Saturday morning I was upstairs getting ready to take Nate to the Easter Egg hunt, when I came down to check on him he was perfectly content...perfectly content because he had found his Easter basket and was enjoying all the new toys and goodies in it. We don't do the whole Easter bunny thing, he knows its from Mom & Dad anyway, but I would have at least like to seen the look of excitement on his face...
