We have Arrived!

We have finally arrived in our hotel in Illinois were we will be staying for the week while Mick attends the farm progress show. The hotel parking lot is shared with the Tanger outlet mall- so I will be entertained on this trip as well :) (I don't get as excited about hog poop as Mick does :))
Our trip was going rather well (Nate had a nap- and content for the most part watching Mickey from the back seat) then we blew out one of our tires on the interstate-Thank goodness for AAA! While we were waiting for our tow truck to come 3 Illinois troopers cars pulled up behind us and came around our truck- apparently someone had called in and said they thought Mick was driving under the influence & hit a construction barrel when his tire blew out and pulled us toward the center of the road. Luckly the troopers were pretty understanding and no sobriety test was given! Excitement always seems to find us one way or another!

Nathan's Learning how to work over Mom (or trying anyway)

Yesterday Nathan was sitting at the kitchen table eating super. He started climbing from his chair to reach on to the counter for mommy's sunglasses...
Me: No Nathan, they are Mommy's glasses
Nathan: I LOVE YOU Mommy
Me: Nice Try!
