Bear Lake

Today we took Nate to Bear Lake, but the wind was blowing pretty hard, & it was too cold to do much snow shoeing etc. so we didn't stay long but it was pretty.

Nathan's 1st Snowman

Today Daddy & Nathan made a snowman... something Nathan has been talking about for weeks ever since he watched Frosty for the 1st time, he was excited to say the least!

A Very Bad No Good Day

Nathan had a rough day yesterday... 1st he fell face first off our cabin steps...2nd tipped his dinner chair over backwards...3rd pressed his hand & forearm against the fireplace glass...4th fell down a couple stairs... we all hope we don't see a day like this again any time soon.

Snow Shoeing on Fern Lake Trail

Today we took Nathan snow shoeing/sledding on the Fern Lake Trail, we all had a lot of fun playing in the snow & taking in the beautiful scenery! Nathan Scooped snow & we wrote messages in the snow! What a fun family day!

Nathan was very excited to see snow on the ground last week (yes-he is still wearing halloween PJs)

Christmas Tree

The year we got married Mick & I went and cut down a real tree for Christmas. But then because Mick was always busy hauling when it was time to get a tree we decided to get an artificial tree because Mick wouldn't be able to go to get one. But this year we decided going and getting a real tree was a tradition that we wanted to enjoy as a family.

Snow Crazy

Nathan is infatuated with the fake snow I put out with some of our Christmas decorations, it has literally provided him with hours of entertainment. He pushes his trains through it, feeds it to his animals, we even had a snow fight (our vacum, has been working overtime...but it's only once a year right?)

In the holiday spirit!

Mick hung lights on our home last weekend! At our old house we did not have any outlets outside the house so we were excited to be able to be more festive this year!

Little Chef

Nathan has been very interested in being in the kitchen lately. I have also been excited to have a little helper! He made chocolate chip cookies a few weeks ago. I was amazed at how much he could do without my help! He has since helped me make pizza a couple times as well as a few other things. These are memories I will cherish for years to come!

Happy Halloween

Nathan was very excited to have guest come to his door on Halloween, he stood looking out most of the night saying, "come to my house" to anyone he saw outside.

We did venture to a few of the neighbors houses for trick or treating, it didn't take long for Nate to figure out the system, I assume this is because of the candy incentive! He did a great job, it was a lot of fun to watch him say "trick or treat"!

Nathan & I had the pleasure of spending the morning with Mommy's dear friend Lynette & her delightful daughters Alaina & Emila. We had a fun morning at the Children's museum & then ate lunch out. We hope to do it again soon!
